Overview: Each quarter, we offer week-long immersive photographic experiences in India for a select number of humanitarian, cultural, and travel photographers and visual storytellers.
These experiences offer photographers and visual storytellers an unmatched opportunity to find and focus their creative voice, vision, and style while creating compelling humanitarian, cultural, and travel images and stories.
While each experience is different, there are always ample organized and organic opportunities to create humanitarian, cultural, and travel portraits as well as documentary and street photography images of people and places from the Indian location in which the experiences are being held.
Included:
• A variety of safe and comfortable transportation including AC taxis and large auto rickshaws.
• A 3-4 hours of shooting around different themes daily.
• Opportunities to expand and strengthen humanitarian, cultural, and travel portfolios and stories.
• Cultural activities, including photographing models in cultural dress, to be arranged for you.
• Focused attention and help from Joe Murray and other instructors throughout the shooting and editing portions of the day.
• Knowledgeable guides and interpreters who accompany you on all organized experiences.
• Entry fees to all sites.
• Lodging and meals at heritage hotels in the location where the experience is being held.
Not included:
• Airfare to and from India and the location where the experience is being held.
• Photographic equipment, laptop, and photo editing software.
